Short Essay on My Father My Hero 100 words

There’s no denying that my father is my hero. He’s always been there for me, no matter what. I can always count on him to be there for a laugh and a joke, even when things are tough. But beyond just being a great dad, he’s also been incredibly brave in his own right. Growing up, I know that my dad is in the military. Even though I an not allowed to ask too many questions about it, I know that he has fought in some pretty dangerous places. It is amazing to see him come home. His bravery in the military, makes my dad truly my hero. I cannot thank my father through words only.

Essay on My Father My Hero 150 words edeumantra.net

My father is the definition of a father figure, and I can never stay away from him. No doubt my father is really a hero to me. He always puts others before himself and he never hesitates to help anyone who needs it. He always has a kind word for everyone, and he is always there to lend a helping hand. I think the best way to describe my dad is simply saying that he is an ideal human being. He always puts others first, even if it means sacrificing his own needs sometimes. He has a heart of gold, and he always puts others before himself. He would do anything for his family, and I know that I can always count on him no matter what happens. I have learnt a lot from my father including planning and time management. He always shows me that it is never too late to be good, or to do something special. He tells me that there is nothing more important than family. He teaches me the lesson of honesty and truthfulness also. Thank you, Dad, for being my hero!

He has always been there for me, even when I didn’t know it. My father is also an amazing cook, which I am grateful for because it means that there is usually an atmosphere of joy when my father cooks instead of my mother. Sometimes my father has helped my even when I really didn’t deserve it. He is the most compassionate person I know and he is always willing to lend a listening ear. He is truly the best father anyone could ask for and I am grateful for him every day.

Not only is he the one who introduced me to the world of books and reading, but he also taught me how to uphold values and morals. He has always been there for me when I needed him, and I owe him everything. Growing up, my dad has been a role model for me. He has shown me how to be independent, responsible, and most importantly, courageous. He never gave up on himself or on us, no matter what obstacles we faced. I’ll never forget the time that we were driving home from visiting my grandparents and our car Suddenly stopped working. My dad is a strong man and didn’t let the fact that our car had broken down get in the way of our journey home. He not only drove the whole way back home but also managed to keep a brave face until we got there. My father is truly an amazing person and I’m grateful for all that he’s done for me throughout my life. So finally I would like to state that my father is the most influential man in my life. He has shaped me into the person I am today, and without him, I would not be the person that I am today. My father taught me how to work hard, how to live with integrity, and most importantly, what it means to be a good dad. I owe everything that I have achieved in life to him.

Essay on My Father My Hero- Long Essay 1000 Words

As a child, I was always told that my father was my hero. He was an inspiration to me, something that I looked up to and aspired to be like. He did everything he could to provide for his family while working and he never once complained. In this essay, I want to share my experiences with you and tell you all about the man who has been such an important part of my life.

My Father: A True Hero

I would be lying if I say that my father wasn’t always there for me. Growing up, he was the one who always made time for me. He was a true hero, always putting others first. Even when things were tough, he would never let his emotions get the best of him. My father was someone I could always count on and I owe him everything.

My Father’s Influence on My Life

My Father has always been a huge influence in my life. He is the one who taught me how to work hard and make things happen. He is also the one who showed me what it means to be a family man. My Father was always there for me when I needed him, and he has never failed to show me his support. He has also been a great role model for my career path. My Father always believed in me, and he has helped me to achieve my goals both professionally and personally. He is someone who I can always count on, no matter what situation we are in. I would not be where I am today without my Father’s guidance and support.

The Relationship I Had With My Father

Growing up, I had a very close relationship with my father. He was my role model and often acted as the example for how a man should behave. He never hesitated to give me a hug or tell me that he loved me. My father always pushed me to be the best that I could be, and he was always willing to help out whenever I needed it. Though we don’t see each other as much as we would like, I know that the relationship we have is still very strong.

Lessons I Learned From My Father

Growing up, I idolized my father. He was a hard worker and an all around great guy. I loved everything about him, from the way he could fix anything to the stories he would tell me at bedtime. I learned a lot from my dad, some of which I might not have realized at the time. Here are five things that I believe I learned from him: 1.Hard work pays off – My dad is one of the hardest working people I know. Whether it’s fixing cars or building houses, he always finds a way to get the job done. This lesson has definitely stuck with me throughout my life, and it’s helped me achieve some goals that were initially difficult. 2.It’s important to stay positive – One of the biggest lessons my dad taught me was to keep a positive attitude no matter what happened. Even when things were tough, he never gave up on himself or on us. This has really helped me in life – especially during times of trial. 3.Family is important – Another lesson my dad taught me was how important family is. He always put us first and showed us how much he loved us. Even though we weren’t always close growing up, his love for us remains strong to this day. 4.Values are important – One of the most important values my dad instilled in me was honesty and integrity . He never let anyone push him around 5.Judge before Helping anyone- My father always said that everyone doesn’t deserve help and helping the non deserving ones always brings hard luck. So be judgmental before helping anyone.

My Heroism Towards Others

When I was younger, my father always struck me as being a hero. He was always there for me, no matter what. Even when I was a brat, he would always put up with me. And even though he wasn’t there physically, he still managed to be a hero to me in spirit. He always made an effort to be there for me and show his love, even though he wasn’t around physically. I think that it is really important for fathers to be there for their children. Too often, fathers are absent or uninvolved in their children’s lives. But my dad was different. He was there for me whenever I needed him, no matter how bad I behaved. And because of that, I owe him everything. He has been the model father that I have wanted to become and the one that I aspire to be like. Fathers play an incredibly important role in our lives and without them, we would not be who we are today. They are the ones who give us hope and teach us about values and morals. Without them, life would not be worth living

Whatever I have written is not an exaggeration — he is really my hero. He has always been there for me, whether it was lending a listening ear when I needed to talk or offering a helping hand when I needed it most. He has never given up on me and continues to be an incredibly positive force in my life. Even now, as I approach adulthood and start to take on more responsibilities, my dad remains the rock that helps me stay grounded and focused. Without him, I don’t think I would be where I am today. Thank you, Dad – you are the best dad a girl could ask for!

My Dad Is My Hero Essay

My dad is my hero. He’s always been there for me, no matter what. He’s a great father and an even better friend. I can’t imagine my life without him.

When I consider what my hero means to me, I realize that the majority of my favorite memories and sentiments toward him are derived from his small acts on a daily basis. My hero is not a celebrity or someone who is well-known. He has never rescued me from a burning castle or an avalanche, but he does hug me and tell me good day. He doesn’t buy me expensive or gaudy accessories, but he will whisper to me that I am his one-and-only special girl. He’s just a modest guy who lives an ordinary life and which I honor and admire.

My dad is my hero because he has always been there for me. He has never missed a single one of my soccer games, even though I know he would rather be doing just about anything else. When I had chickenpox, he stayed up all night with me to make sure I was comfortable. He has always been interested in everything I do and takes the time to listen to me, even when I know he’s tired. My dad is always willing to help me with anything I need, whether it’s homework or just advice on life.

I can talk to my dad about anything and I know he will give me an honest answer. He has never judged me or made me feel like I am less than because I am not perfect. My dad loves me unconditionally and that is something I cherish. I know that no matter what happens in life, my dad will always be there for me and that is why he is my hero.

My hero is a hard worker. He comes home around 5 p.m. and finishes any paperwork he need to finish for the day, whether it’s anything big or little. At work, he puts his intellect to use on various water-purification topics, but at home, he uses his knowledge of these subjects to help me with my homework or repair household appliances. My hero is also extremely encouraging.

He is always cheering me on at my sporting events and being encouraging. My dad is always willing to give me a helping hand when I need it. He has helped me out many times, whether it was with schoolwork or with personal issues. My dad is also very loving. He expresses his love for me in many different ways. He is always telling me how proud he is of me and how much he loves me. I know that I can always count on my dad to be there for me no matter what. That’s why my dad is my hero.

My hero is always there for me. He has been a wonderful source of encouragement and assistance in my life when I was going through difficulties, especially during my academics when it looked as if everything was going wrong. Finally, he’s really caring. He’ll help you with any issues you’re having, and he’ll always try to find time to spend with you, even if he doesn’t think he can manage it.

This is why my dad is my hero. He’s always there for me when I need him, and he’s always been a great role model.

He has always been supportive, whether it be financially, academically, or emotionally. My dad has also been very instrumental in helping me choose the right path in life. When I was younger, he would sit down with me and talk to me about my interests and what I wanted to do with my life.

He helped me make the decision to pursue a career in information technology, and he has continued to support me throughout my education. My dad is also a great role model. He has always been an honest and hardworking person, and he has instilled those values in me. I aspire to be like him in many ways, and I am grateful to have him as my dad.

My hero is always one hundred and ten percent committed to being a great person. He is there for me whether it’s to encourage me at my sports games or to holler loudly at any workouts or practices I may have.

The purpose is that he would never miss these activities for all the money in the world because he wants to support my endeavors in everything I do. I understand that his presence indicates how much he cares about me and how pleased he is when I try my hardest. When I know he’s rooting for me, I give it my all.

My dad is my best friend and I can always count on him to be there for me, no matter what. I know that he loves me unconditionally and that I am very lucky to have him as my father. He has always been there for me, even when times are tough. I am truly blessed to have him in my life.

There are many special events I have with my hero. We both love playing and watching sports, particularly baseball and hockey. He and I frequently play catch or practice hitting in the backyard alone. When we chat during these beautiful times, we usually discuss what’s going on in our lives and make jokes at each other’s expense. When we talk, it looks like we’re in a different universe.

My dad is the only person that I can talk to about anything and he always makes me feel better after we talk.

These are just a few of many reasons why my dad is my hero. He has always been there for me, whether I needed help with homework or just a shoulder to cry on. He has never given up on me, even when I have made mistakes. I know that I can always count on him and that he will always be there for me. That is why my dad is my hero.

How it works

It was a cold December night. The night before Christmas to be precise. Most children, or should I say, teenagers of my age would be in bed, warm and cozy right now – dreaming of the gifts they would receive in the morning. If they couldn’t sleep, they would be listening to music or watching old Christmas movies. For me though, things were very different.

I woke up the next morning to find myself covered in a blanket and lying on the couch. I caught a glimpse of our tree which we’d decorated it a couple of weeks before with Dad, and remembered it was Christmas. Christmas, a time which is usually happy and joyful; a time for celebrating and spending time with family. For me, it had turned to despair and sadness. I no longer wanted presents. I just wanted one thing back – my dad. Mom was trying her best to be cheerful, she’d even put some Christmas tunes on the stereo, but I knew it was an act.

Later on, after we’d been through the ritual of presents and Christmas lunch, the phone rang. It was an ‘out of area’ number. Confused, I picked up the phone. “Hello?”

“Hello. This is Warrant Officer Graham…” before his sentence was complete I yelled, “It’s dad!” Mom dropped the tea towel she’d been holding and came running. I’d never been so happy to hear my father’s voice. It was better than any Christmas present. He’d phoned just to tell us he was safe. He said he would be able to call once a week. He wasn’t sure what day or time, but he reassured us that he’d also send letters as often as possible.

During the week that followed, I sat down and wrote my first letter to Dad. I knew the more I wrote, the more he would have to respond to and I was looking forward to hearing back from him. It was important to reassure him with news from home and I was careful to focus on the positive. I posted it immediately and eagerly awaited a reply.

About a week later, I received a letter from Dad. He explained what he was doing, what it was like to be on the front line. He said how he missed us and couldn’t wait for my next letter. My dad loved my artwork but resisted whenever it came to military pictures – aircraft, weapons, bombs. I would dedicate all my time to working on drawings and paintings to send to him for his area in Afghanistan. He always got compliments about my drawings and I wanted him to be proud when he thought about me. True to his word, he called once every week.

Suddenly though, as spring arrived, the letters and calls stopped. The frosts and cold weather was thawing but I felt frozen inside. It’d been ten days and nothing. My heart was constantly in the pit of my stomach. I kept telling myself not to worry; he’s very busy…probably. Really, though, I feared the worst.

I was back at school now, working hard for my exams. My final art project was a collection of pastel pieces based on military objects – I’d had a lot of practice. The trouble was this made me think about Dad even more. Although I tried to keep them to myself, my fears grew.

After a long day at school, I came home to find Mom grey-faced with tear tracks and black smudge marks obvious on her face. She had been crying. My heart pounded uncontrollably out of my chest. I prepared myself quickly, ready for the worst. She sat me down at the table and, holding back her tears, looked me in the eye. “Your father’s… your father’s been killed in action.” Her voice wobbled and the tears came again. I felt physically sick.

“No. No, he can’t be… He just can’t be!” I shouted.

“He was shot, love. Killed in action. They told me he risked his life. No… he gave his life to save all his men.” Mom said.

“He’s a hero, my father. A hero.” I whispered to her. We sat in silence.

“Do you remember when we took him to the airport?” I asked.

“He whispered something in your ear, didn’t he? What did he say?”

She knew immediately what I was talking about. “He said that if anything happened to him, he wanted me to tell you that he loves you. No matter how old you are or how old you become, you mean the world to him. He wanted me to tell you that if died, he would be watching over you every day. Like a guardian angel.” A tear of joy and sadness rolled down my face. I started to cry. Not because I was weak, but because I’d been strong too long. Not only is my father a hero, but he is my hero. My father. My hero.

Essay on My Dad My Hero

essay on my dad is my hero

ADVERTISEMENTS:

My Dad is my real hero because he is the most special person in my life. He is a very good athlete & an artist. He is a Civil Engineer by profession. At weekends he loves to play with me the whole day.

During weekdays we work hard & spend maximum time working at his office. He is amongst the top ranked employee of his company & has won many awards for the same. He tries his best to keep our family happy. He works hard to make money for our family. He loves me a lot & always tries to cheer me up whenever I am in a sad mood.

He has always taught me good values & not spoiling me by buying me all the things that I wanted. But at the same time he has gifted me many things that I always wish to have. My Dad has always tried his level best to make me a good human being. I am his only son.

He is very careful regarding what I eat. He always insists me to eat healthy stuff such as fruits and vegetables that are rich in vitamins and minerals. He is an extremely loving Dad. I always enjoy spending time with him and learn new things with him. He has taught me to swim.

Till date I have won many swimming championships. My Dad helps me in my studies too. He does not allow me to take tuitions instead he personally sits with me to get my problems solved. It is because of his grace I perform well in studies. My Dad is the most precious gift of God to me. He is a loving father and the most gracious person I have ever seen in my life. He wants me to become a good human being like him. That is why he always teaches me to differentiate between wrong & right.

Every day he takes out little time for me in the night to acknowledge my day to day activities & problems if any. He is my best friend. I can discuss everything with him without any hesitation. Things that I fail to reveal out to my close friends, I can easily discuss them with my Dad.

Whenever I need his help, he is always available for me. He is like a hero to me. He is a funny, cool, adventurous and smart human being. He loves to travel and that is why we both always go to long distant places (sometimes abroad) on vacations. I love to travel too & that is why vacations are always awaited as far as its Dad’s company. Apart from domestic cities till date we have travelled to San Francisco, Beijing, Toronto, New York & Sydney.

Dad says that he started visiting the globe when he was a college student. According to him his experience has helped him to broaden his horizons. This is the reason he started me quite early. He wants me to experience the world because he believes that travelling is an education in itself. When I was at the age of 10 I took my first flight to Sydney. I have learnt a lot of things under my Dad’s guidance which education fails to teach. The most important lesson that Dad has taught me is to be discipline & hard working in life. These 2 things are the key ingredients to achieve success in life.

Today I am just 16 years old & at this tender age Dad has taught me a lot of things that people at the age of 20 fails to understand. He has taught me what life is all about. He has showed me the way to achieve success. He has showed me the opportunities that exist in front of me. But at the same time he has left the decision up to me in terms of which path to choose. He is very confident that his efforts to make me a good human being will never go in vein. Seeing his confidence in me some day I want to make him proud. I thank God everyday for giving me such a loving and caring father. I also wish to see him in good health for the rest of my life.

He teaches me real world wisdom . He knows this is not the ideal world that the books and the movies show , He knows how life is and tells us how to behave accordingly .

He has taught me that everything in this world is temporary , our friends , Our looks , our status and all but one thing is permanent and that is Knowledge . He has always encouraged me to get as much as knowledge ; and not only bookish Knowledge , Knowledge from as many different fields as we can get . He has taught me not to run for money and other materialistic pleasures but to strive for happiness and satisfaction in anything we do .

He himself is a hardworking and honest man . He is friendly , helpful and has a lot of friends . The epitome of heroism.

My father, the embodiment of resilience and compassion, has always been my hero. His life and actions have been a beacon, guiding me through the labyrinth of life. His heroism isn’t defined by extraordinary feats but by his everyday actions and unwavering commitment to his values.

Resilience in Adversity

My father’s resilience in the face of adversity is nothing short of heroic. He grew up in an impoverished household, yet he managed to break free from the shackles of poverty through sheer determination and hard work. What to Write in My Dad is My Hero Essay

Most people don’t have to be explained the importance of family in their lives. A family is a circle of people who support us from the very first day of our life and literally ensure our survival. Moreso, our social and psychological development is closely linked to relations in the family. We need to be loved to be able to grow. We need to have an example of properly built relationships in the family to be able to build our own one later in life. And this is where the roles of father and mother come to the fore. Fathers are not only the breadwinners. They are the ones who shape our values and teach us important skills. Together with mothers, they make us who we really are today.

In student papers such as My Dad is My Hero essay, the father is often presented as a superhero who is idolized. And this is not surprising. For many of us, our fathers are heroes. A father is a man who fights for a better life for his family and never complains. He tries to make you happy no matter what hardships he experiences. And even though we know what our dads do for us, it’s often hard to find the right words to express what we feel on paper. So, in this post, you will find a list of qualities of a good father and professional tips on how to write an essay on father.

What to Write in an Essay About Your Dad

You may wonder why it is so hard to write an essay about father. Still, the answer is simple – you have to talk about something personal, a relationship with your dad that no one probably knows about. The good thing is that you do not have to go into details and be too frank. You are to describe the good qualities your father possesses. To help you structure your essay and better understand what to write, we have provided some great ideas and a list of aspects to consider when crafting the My Dad is My Hero paper.

Qualities and personal traits of a father that you can highlight in an Essay About Dad

Use this list of qualities of the father to create a detailed outline for your essay:

  • Your father’s nature
  • Your dad’s strengths
  • The love he has towards his son(s) and daughter(s)
  • His devotion to his family
  • His diligence at work
  • Your dad’s ability to keep a healthy work/family life balance
  • Your father’s ability to be kind to his children but also to be strict when necessary
  • His ability to contribute to the warm atmosphere your mum creates in the family.

These are the main things to be discussed in a well-written My Father essay. In addition, we advise you to consider the list of possible reasons why your dad is a true superhero for you, prepared by our professional writers.

My Dad is a Hero Essay: 10 Reasons Why This is So

  • He is the epitome of endurance. Who else can hide pain as masterfully as he can, so that his children grow courageous and strong? He shows his kids how strong they should be to overcome any difficulties in life. Even when he is in great pain, he does not show it so as not to scare his family. A father wants to always be a superhero for his children thus, he hides how much it hurts.
  • My dad works hard to provide a truly good life for his kids. He wants his children to have good food, new and warm clothes, a proper education, a comfortable home, and everything he thinks constitutes a quality of life. Fathers are those people who work hard to create a better future for their children.
  • He wants his children to feel safe. He instills a sense of security in the members of his family. Thus, children feel that they are safe when he is around. A small child is afraid of everything: falling when taking his/her first steps, failing at school the first time he/she comes there. But the father is always there, ready to support and protect from falling. Don’t forget to mention this when writing a My Dad essay.
  • He can also coddle his kids. Sometimes, he can take on the role of a mother, who can become strict and forbid kids to eat one more candy or to buy one more toy. If the mother forbids something, the children ask the father, and often he fulfills their requests, even though he risks being caught by his spouse.
  • He is the one who can solve any problem for his kids. Neighbor child offenses a kid on the playground? The father will find the child’s parents and talk to them. Problems with Math at school? Each evening, the father will spend time with his son or daughter to help them understand complex rules. There is no problem that is too difficult for him.
  • The father will transform into a Walt Disney hero to make his son or daughter laugh. He cannot see his child sad. He will do everything possible to resolve all the problems and make the child smile. He will read funny stories and parody different heroes to make his son or daughter laugh.
  • He is also the child’s best friend. He is the one who plays football with you in the yard when all your friends are busy doing lessons. He is the one who takes you to the cinema or a football game. And guess who is the first “horse” of every child? Yes, dad is!
  • The dad is the one who gets his child out of trouble. Do you know why children are so brave to explore many unknown things? Because they know that their dad will get them out of any trouble. Yes, he will get mad and even punish them for their behavior, but he will make sure to resolve any problems they have.
  • He tries not to let children make mistakes in life. A father warns his children about all possible sorts of mistakes, bad decisions, and the consequences they bring. He supports his kids and doesn’t want them to be hurt.
  • He is the epitome of unconditional love. Fathers love their kids no matter what grades they have in school, no matter what character they have, and what choices in life they make. Even if a child does something that hurts his dad’s feelings, he will always forgive him or her.

Sometimes your father is your biggest critic. Sometimes your dad is your closest friend. He can be your greatest teacher and your chief judge. He plays as many roles as needed to make you a holistic person. He is always ready to sacrifice his own interests for the sake of his children. And this is a good reason to write a good My Dad is a Superhero essay.

My Dad is My Hero Essay Sample

There are many ways to say, “My dad is my superhero”. If you need just some minor help getting started writing your own masterpiece, we offer you to check a sample essay about a father.

There is no one who has impacted my life in a positive way than my father. Black curly hair, a smooth forehead with a pointed nose and fair complexion are some of the external appearances that reveal his restrained strong willpower. My father is a man of balanced personality with a mind full of sublime thoughts and a heart full of love and joy. He is a diligent and devoted teacher, who dazzles me with his knowledge, not only in certain specific subjects like science and mathematics but also in every aspect of human life, such as mutual funds and automobiles.

If I have to compare my father with another person in this world, I can only compare him to President Barrack Obama. Just like Obama, my father has been able to beat all odds to become successful both professionally and personally. Just like Obama, my father was able to overcome many barriers throughout his life to become a renowned teacher. For example, his ethnic group is a minority in our native country, his family background is humble, but he overcame all this to become what he is today. Just like Obama, my dad is a diligent and devoted worker. He spends most of his free time in the wise company of open-minded and sagacious friends. His charming face, just like Obamas’ reveals his concealed fascinating manners. Because he is a renowned teacher, people come to him for guidance and advice. He is always ready to help the needy.

My father’s approach to politics is liberal. He is an advocate of fraternity and equality among different classes and races of society. He loathes both capitalism and communism as he holds that the two can never weed out hunger and evil from this world. He detests politicians who befool the electorate by exploring their economic condition and religious emotions. Since every human being is a blend of vices and virtues, my father is no exception. He too has some flaws. For example, he never hesitates to call a spade-a-spade due to his straightforward character. Sometimes, this habit put others in very awkward situations. I must say that I am proud to be the son of this all-around person.

One of the reasons my father is my hero is his unwavering support and involvement in all aspects of my life. He always stands by my side, ensuring that I make the right choices and encouraging my growth. With a deep understanding of my aspirations and the ever-changing world, he offers valuable guidance and imparts wisdom through his thoughtful lectures. His concern for my future career is evident, and he goes above and beyond to nurture my skills and help me achieve my goals.

Despite facing financial constraints, my father goes to great lengths to fulfill my genuine needs and ensures that I never feel inadequate. He works tirelessly, often sacrificing his own comfort, to augment his earnings for my sake. He may eat a little less, but he never hesitates to provide for me.

My father possesses the education and a logical mindset. Over time, he has adapted to the modern world and become a trendy dad. He utilizes his knowledge and contemporary perspectives to raise me in a manner that prepares me for the competitive life of today. He leaves no stone unturned to meet my necessities and strives to eliminate any gaps that may hinder my development and career-building process.

What sets my father apart as an ideal father is his openness toward my career choices. Unlike some parents who impose their own preferences, my father respects my individuality and encourages me to pursue a future that aligns with my own passions, aptitude, and capabilities. The traditional notion of children following their parents’ professions has faded away. Doctors do not insist their children become doctors, professors do not compel their offspring to join academia, and army officers do not pressure their sons to join the military. Similarly, my father desires that I have a brighter future based on my own choices.

My father is a mature and understanding individual who assists me in making important decisions. Like any loving father, he plays a vital role in my life, helping me shape my career and navigate everyday challenges. Whenever I seek guidance or support, I know I can rely on my father. He selflessly puts aside his own priorities and devotes himself to addressing my needs. His tireless efforts and countless sacrifices to resolve my problems are a testament to his love and care.

Every year, we celebrate Father’s Day on 19th June, an occasion to strengthen the bond with our fathers and express gratitude for their sacrifices. However, it has become a mere formality for many, lacking genuine emotional connection and appreciation. In today’s times, children often choose to live separately from their fathers, prioritizing their own families and forgetting their responsibilities towards their aging fathers, who hold onto hope for support.

It is very important that we should give deep respect and pay the highest regard to our fathers not just because they are fathers, but for their unmatched fatherhood and incredible sacrifices towards us. We must recognize the value of their presence and the impact they have on our lives. By cherishing our fathers, upholding our duties, and expressing gratitude for their sacrifices, we can truly acknowledge the heroism they embody in their roles as fathers.

500+ Words Essay on My Father

Essay on My Father: Usually, people talk about a mother’s love and affection, in which a father’s love often gets ignored. A mother’s love is talked about repeatedly everywhere, in movies, in shows and more. Yet, what we fail to acknowledge is the strength of a father which often goes unnoticed. Father’s a blessing which not many people have in their lives. It would also be wrong to say that every father is the ideal hero for their kids because that is not the case. However, I can vouch for my father without any second thoughts when it comes to being an ideal person.

essay on my father

My Father is Different!

As everyone likes to believe that their father is different, so do I. Nonetheless, this conviction is not merely based on the love I have for him, but also because of his personality. My father owns a business and is quite disciplined in all aspects of life. He is the one who taught me to always practice discipline no matter what work I do.

Most importantly, he has a jovial nature and always makes my mother laugh with his silly antics even after 27 years of marriage. I completely adore this silly side of him when he is with his loved ones. He tries his best to fulfill all our wishes but also maintains the strictness when the need arises.

essay on my dad is my hero

One of the best things I love about my father is that he has always kept a very safe and open home environment. For instance, my siblings and I can talk about anything with him without the fear of being scolded or judged. This has helped us not to lie, which I have often noticed with my friends.

In addition, my father has an undying love for animals which makes him very sympathetic towards them. He practices his religion devotedly and is very charitable too. I have never seen my father misbehave with his elders in my entire life which makes me want to be like him even more.

My Father is My Source of Inspiration

I can proudly say that it is my father who has been my source of inspiration from day one. In other words, his perspective and personality together have shaped me as a person. Similarly, he has a great impact on the world as well in his own little ways. He devotes his free time in taking care of stray animals which inspires me to do the same.

My father has taught me the meaning of love in the form of a rose he gifts to my mother daily without fail. This consistency and affection encourage all of us to treat them the same way. All my knowledge of sports and cars, I have derived from my father. It is one of the sole reasons why I aspire to be a cricket player in the future.

To sum it up, I believe that my father has it all what it takes to be called a real-life superhero. The way he manages things professionally and personally leaves me mesmerized every time. No matter how tough the times got, I watched my father become tougher. I certainly aspire to become like my father. If I could just inherit ten percent of what he is, I believe my life will be sorted.

Anderson Cooper Says 40-Year-Old Essay by His Father Helped Him Realize He'd 'Buried My Ability to Feel Joy'

"I don't want to do that any longer. I can't. I want to feel all there is,” Cooper wrote in a new essay published by CNN

Anderson Cooper ’s father taught him an important lesson about grief.

Family patriarch Wyatt Cooper died of surgical complications in 1978 when Anderson was just 10 years old. A decade later, older brother Carter Cooper died by suicide , and mother Gloria Vanderbilt died in 2019 at age 95. As such, the broadcaster focused an entire season of his All There Is podcast on grief while going through boxes of his late family’s things.

In an essay published by CNN on Wednesday, the 56-year-old journalist said he recently realized that while he has experienced loss in his lifetime, he “never really grieved before” — that is, until a 40-year-old essay penned by his Wyatt shifted his perspective.

During the season 1 finale of All There Is last November, Anderson asked listeners to share their insights about grief. Though he was able to get through only about 200 of the thousand messages that poured in at time time, he returned to them a few months ago to listen to all 46 hours.

“It turned out to be one of the most moving experiences of my life,” wrote the Anderson Cooper 360° host, adding that it “awakened something in me that I had buried long ago.”

Inspired to return to the work he started in the first season of All There Is , he began going through his family’s boxes again — which led him to an essay that changed his outlook on grief entirely.

“I decided to start going through the boxes of my parents’ and brother’s things once again, and the first one I opened was full of my dad’s papers. He was a writer,” Cooper wrote. “On top of the pile was an essay he wrote more than 40 years ago. I’d never seen it before.”

Jack Robinson/Hulton Archive/Getty

In the decades-old paper, “The Importance of Grieving,” Wyatt “wrote about what happens to children when they aren’t able to properly grieve.”

Anderson said that one titbit from the essay by Wyatt — who has a 3-year-old namesake grandson that Anderson and former partner Benjamin Maisani welcomed in April 2023 — especially struck a chord with him.

“He quoted a psychologist who said, ‘When a person is unable to complete a mourning task in childhood, he either has to surrender his emotions in order that they do not suddenly overwhelm him, or else he may be haunted constantly throughout his life, with a sadness for which he can never find an appropriate explanation,’” shared Anderson, who is also father to son Sebastian Luke , 21 months. “When I read that, I realized, for the first time: That’s me. That’s exactly what I did.”

The CNN anchor said that he “dug a deep hole” to push his emotions into when his dad died (“I barely even cried”) and continued to dig it deeper when his brother took his own life.

“I thought I could keep all that grief buried forever, but it turns out grief doesn’t work that way,” Cooper wrote. “As one podcast listener said to me, ‘It has to go somewhere.’”

Now, with the help of more than a thousand voice messages and Wyatt's wisdom from his late father, Anderson has realized that he is ready to grieve.

"I see now that in burying my grief, I’ve also buried my ability to feel joy, and I don’t want to do that any longer,” he wrote. “I can’t. I want to feel all there is.”

Screen Rant

My hero academia has exactly one chance to reveal deku's father.

MHA creator Kohei Horikoshi promised fans would see Deku's father in the manga, but with the finale closing in, there's really only one chance left.

  • Deku's father, Hisashi Midoriya, has yet to make an appearance in the My Hero Academia manga despite being mentioned as alive.
  • Fans have grown curious about Deku's father's extended absence and want to know more about him.
  • The best opportunity for Hisashi to appear in the manga would be in an epilogue chapter after the final battle, showcasing how the heroes' lives have progressed.

Like many anime protagonists, My Hero Academia 's Izuku Midoriya has a very absent father--so absent, in fact, that while he's known to be alive, he has yet to appear in the manga's more than 400 chapters. Will fans get to meet Deku's father before the series ends?

Back at an appearance at San Diego Comic Con in 2018 , series creator Kohei Horikoshi responded to a question about Deku's father, stating that "Deku's father will be revealed in the future." It's been five years since then, and Deku's father still remains a mystery as far as the manga is concerned.

While Deku's father isn't really critical to the plot, fans have grown curious about him and his extended absence, even throughout all the disasters Japan has suffered in the series. With My Hero Academia's finale growing ever closer , though, the opportunities for Deku's father to show up have become few and far between, with there really only being one possible situation where he could still appear.

Deku's Father Would Best Be Used in an Epilogue

Little is known about Deku's father. His name is Hisashi Midoriya, and he's said to have a fire-breathing Quirk . He's supposedly out traveling abroad on business, according to an extra in volume 11, which explains why he's never at home, but Hisashi never appears in Midoriya's flashbacks to childhood, either. Deku's mother, Inko, seems to have raised him mostly by herself, to the point where his father rarely even factors into Deku's decision-making. He never seems to write to or call his father, either; it's entirely possible that Hisashi Midoriya isn't even aware that Izuku entered UA or inherited One for All .

There is still one good chance for Deku's father to play a role, however. With the final battle looming, it's pretty common for manga like My Hero Academia to have an epilogue chapter, set after everything is said and done to show how the heroes' lives have progressed since their story ended. Midoriya's father arriving back in Japan once the dust has settled, only to learn that his son is now one of the greatest heroes that the world has ever seen, would actually make for a fairly powerful ending, especially with themes of family already factoring into My Hero Academia 's ending through the Todoroki clan.

Deku Has Become One Of The World's Best Heroes Without His Father's Help

It wouldn't make much sense for Hisashi to show up any earlier than that, as he's not a hero and couldn't help with the battle itself, so an epilogue scene where he appears is pretty much the only opportunity for Deku's father to still be shown. With the end of My Hero Academia 's story closing in, though, fans won't have to wait too much longer to find out if Deku's father will ever appear in the manga.

The My Hero Academia manga is available on Manga Plus and Viz Media.

My father is an amazing human being and a great father. I look at him as my hero. He has been a pillar of support for the family. My grandmother often tells us how obedient he was as a child. He always obeyed everything his parents told him and constantly worked towards achieving his academic goals. He was also good in sports. Besides, he was always ready to help his fellow students. He also helped my grandmother with the household chores in his free time. His dedication towards his work and his helpful nature inspires us to become better human beings.

Even today, his nature hasn’t changed a bit. He is appreciated for his hard working nature and has helped his department achieve many a milestones. His boss and other colleagues always praise him for his dedication towards work. He is equally considerate about the household tasks. He helps my mother with the household work. He also helps us with our homework and other assignments. He plays with us whenever he finds time and also takes us out for recreation regularly. Apart from this, he is always ready to extend help to our neighbours and relatives whenever there is any need.

Another quality my father possesses is that he is a believer of holistic living. He takes utmost care of his physical health by eating right, taking proper rest and exercising and teaches us the same. After all, a healthy body breeds a healthy mind.

Essay on My Father My Hero 2 (300 words)

Introduction

My father is my mentor, my hero and my best friend. He has been there for me at every step in life and supported me in all my decisions. He has taught me a lot and continues to shower his words on wisdom.

My Father Believes in Keeping Life Simple

My father believes in leading a simple life. Though he earns well and can afford a luxury car and a big bungalow. However, he still continues to live in a small flat. His needs are minimal and he has taught us the same values. He believes in spending a good amount of his salary to social work. He is a part of a non-profit organization that is dedicated towards providing food and education to the underprivileged children. Every Saturday he visits these children and distributes fruits and other eatables among them.

He also gives free mathematics classes to these students in the charity school run by the organization. Many a times, he also takes us along. He has taught us how to share and care. I and my sister have inculcated this value from him. We also do our bit to light up a smile on the faces of these children. This is true joy for us. No amount of toys, holiday trips and visits to restaurants can render such a joyful feeling.

Just like my father, I also love keeping it simple. I have understood that “needs can be met but greed cannot”. I am not keen on buying new bags, clothes and accessories every now and then. I only buy things when I truly need them. I love accompanying my father to the places he visits for his charity work and wish to join one such non-profit organization as I grow old.

I am proud of my father. He is a noble soul who is dedicated towards helping others. His teachings and values inspire me to become a better human being.

Essay on My Father My Hero 3 (400 words)

My father is someone I look up to. He is highly qualified and is extremely dedicated towards his work. His dedication towards the family is as much as it is towards his work and this is one quality about him that I admire the most.

My Father Renders the Best Advice

Whenever I need an advice I know whom to turn to. It is my father. Children are more attached to their mothers and mostly share all their secrets with them. However, in my case it is different. I share all my secrets with my father and go running to him whenever I am confused about anything in life. He has a clear perspective about life and knows exactly how to calm my chaotic thoughts. Whether I have a fight with my friends or am unable to concentrate on studies or am unable to choose which co-curricular activity to go for – I know whom to ask. He knows me extremely well and is also worldly wise and thus gives advice keeping both his experiences and my nature in mind.

My Father – The Backbone of Our Family

My father knows his responsibilities extremely well and never tries to escape from them. He is constantly there for us fulfilling each and every responsibility of our family. He is like the backbone of our family. From fulfilling our financial needs to taking care of the emotional upheavals – he is always there standing strong besides us. I have learned a lot from this attitude of his. He has taught us how we must all take our responsibilities seriously and fulfil them happily. Taking inspiration from him, me and my brother also complete every little task and responsibility assigned to us sincerely. If every member of the family takes his responsibilities seriously then everything will remain well-coordinated. There would be less stress and relationships would be sweeter.

Unlike when people need to be reminded of their responsibilities several times and still do not fulfil them. Children in such families suffer the most. There are constant conflicts between family members which creates a tensed atmosphere. I am lucky to have born in a family where people are mature enough to understand their responsibilities and have taught us the same.

My father is indeed my hero. He has given us good values and brought out the best in us. He is not just my father. He is my best friend and my hero.

Essay on My Father My Hero 4 (500 words)

We all love our parents but I am lucky that I also draw inspiration from them. I look up to my father as a source of motivation and inspiration. He is my hero in the true sense. I admire his love towards his family, dedication towards work and concern for the environment and people around.

Dedication towards Improving the Environment

My father is a true nature lover. He loves plants and this is the reason why we have turned our terrace into a garden. Earlier, we only had some pots kept at some distance from each other on the terrace but now we have plants all over the place. However, his love for nature is not just limited to gardening at home he is also involved in improving the environment by planting more and more trees and plants in the surrounding areas. He has joined a non-profit organization that works for making the environment clean and green.

He helps the organization to further their mission by joining them every weekend. He and his team choose an area every week and do their best to clear the dried leaves and other waste products from there. They hire a sweeper to help them and do whatever they can on their own. After the cleaning drive, they plant trees and plants at suitable places in that area. Many a times he takes us along for help.

He was also invited to my school to sensitize the students to make the environment clean and green. He gave lecture on the subject to help the students understand the importance of this issue. It was a proud moment for me.

Belief in Woking as a Team

My father believes in working as a team. He does not expect my mother to do all the household tasks and handle the kids all on her own. He helps and supports her at every step. They both work as a team to make our house a better place to live. My father also works with us whenever we require working on some assignment we are not much familiar with. Rather than just giving us instructions and judging our skills from a distance he gets involved in the same to help us learn and understand the task better.

Many of my friends share that their parents give them instructions to do certain tasks and expect them to complete them appropriately. They do not help in the process and even scold them if the task is not done properly. They also have set definition of the tasks that need to be done only by the females in the house and those that the male members should take responsibility for. I am lucky my father does not possess such a mindset. We have learned the art of working as a team from him and this has helped us at various stages in life.

My father’s dedication towards making earth a better place by contributing his bit towards improving the environment as well as his concept of working as a team are certainly two of his best qualities. I have learned a lot from these.

Essay on My Father My Hero 5 (600 words)

My father is not just my hero but an inspiration for everyone around. Besides being a great father, a good husband and an obedient son, he is a very noble human being. He treats everyone alike and does not distinguish between anyone based on their caste, religion or social status. Everyone in our family, extended family and neighbourhood talks highly about him because of his extremely friendly and helpful nature. People come to him to seek advice as well as for help as they know he has the solution for every problem.

Always Ready to Help Others

Just like the heroes in the Bollywood movies my father is always ready to help everyone around. I still remember the incident when one of my father’s colleagues fell seriously ill my father supported his family wholeheartedly. His colleague’s family was not financially well off. He was the only earning member in the family. His parents and wife were not only financially dependent on him but also did not know how to deal with the hospital formalities and other stuff. My father helped them during their hour of need. He used to spend hours in the hospital helping his colleague’s family with the hospital formalities.

He also arranged money for his colleague’s treatment. He contributed whatever he could and requested his other office colleague’s to contribute for the cause. He served as an inspiration for others. Many of his colleagues came forward to contribute their bit for the treatment. Soon, the funds were met and the treatment was completed. I remember the day when that colleague and his family visited our family after his recovery and thanked my father with all their heart. This incident has left a mark on my heart. I feel proud of my father whenever I think of it.

My father has taught me how we must be ready to help those around us and how a little help from us can make a difference in other people’s life.

Striking Work Life Balance

Another quality of my father that I truly admire is that he is very hard working. He is appreciated for his hard work and dedication at work. He won several awards during his school and college days and this inspires me to work hard and earn appreciation too. Even in his office he has won the employee of the year award, most hardworking team member award and many other accreditation. I have seen him working for hours whenever his work demands. At times, he even works on holidays. However, this does not mean that he ignores his family and gives priority to his work. He knows how to maintain work life balance and we love this thing about him.

Many of my friends share that their fathers are extremely engrossed in their office tasks. They come home late from work and also have to go out with colleagues on the weekends. But I am lucky that my father values his personal relationships as much as his work. He does not take his family for granted. He makes sure he comes home on time and spends time with us. He also takes us out regularly. Besides, he helps my mother with small household tasks to share her load.

My father is very clear about the fact that family comes first. So, even though he is always ready to help others and is extremely dedicated towards his office work he does not ignore us in the event. He in fact, involves us in many of his tasks instead of leaving us behind waiting for him. This helps in two ways. We stay close to him and also learn from his good deeds.
